Montlior News reaches 2.1 million readers a week — a readership weighted toward senior decision-makers in government, finance, industry and the professions. We sell a small number of large, well-made placements rather than a great many small ones.
Formats
Four units, sold by placement rather than by impression. Every one is labelled, responsive and measured against the same performance budget as our journalism.
- Billboard — Ultrawide · 1920 × 300 and wider. Front pages, below the lead package; end of article pages. Our largest unit. One per page, never above the fold.
- Leaderboard — Ultrawide · 1920 × 300 and wider. Between section blocks and below section leads. Placed at a natural editorial break, never mid-story.
- Feature panel — 16:9 · 1280 × 720. Article pages after the story; front pages above the newsletter band. Image plus a single line of copy. Always labelled.
- Rail square — 1:1 · 640 × 640. Beneath Most Read on front and section pages. The quietest unit; ideal for long-running brand campaigns.
Advertising standards
Our commercial policy exists to protect the reader, and is published so that advertisers know exactly what they are buying:
- Every advertisement is labelled “Advertisement” in visible text, on every unit, without exception.
- Advertising never appears above the masthead, inside a lead package, or between a headline and its story.
- No more than four units appear on any page, and never two in succession.
- Advertisers have no sight of, or influence over, editorial content before publication.
- We do not accept advertising designed to resemble Montlior News journalism.
- About, Careers, corrections and policy pages carry no advertising at all.
