These terms govern your use of montliornews.com and the associated apps, feeds and newsletters (together, “the services”), which are operated by Montlior Group. By using the services you accept these terms.
Using our services
You may read, link to and share our journalism for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, republish, resell or systematically copy the services or any substantial part of them without our written permission. Quotation of short excerpts with attribution and a link is welcome.
Intellectual property
All content on the services — text, photography, graphics, design and code — is the property of Montlior Group or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. The Montlior name and masthead are registered marks of the Montlior Group.
Accounts and newsletters
Newsletter subscriptions require a valid email address. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the services, attempt unauthorised access, or harass our staff or other readers.
Accuracy and corrections
We publish under the Montlior Editorial Code and correct significant errors promptly. Journalism is nevertheless supplied “as is”: we do not warrant that every item is complete or error-free at every moment, and nothing on the services constitutes professional, financial or legal advice.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Montlior Group excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page at least fourteen days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the law of Coravia, and the courts of Meridale have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: legal@montliornews.com.
